The Paediatric and Adolescent Care specialisation comprises the nursing and care for sick children and adolescents. In this Process of Paediatric and Adolescent Care, the involvement of the family system is an important factor in the work of the academic expert.
The further education course equates to the specialised training for paediatric and adolescent care in accordance with the Healthcare and Nursing Law.

The University of Applied Sciences for Health Professions Upper Austria was founded in september 2010. We offer 8 bachelor degree programmes and 3 master degree programmes, all of them in the subject areas of health sciences. Please consider that our lecutres are hold in German and that we do not offer any bachelor or master degrees in English. About 800 students are studying at our university of applied sciences at 5 different locations in Linz, Steyr and Wels.
