The intensiv care (male or female) nurse is indispensable in the implementation of evidence-based care and represents a core member of the multi-professional team in the field of Intensiv Care Unit.

The University of Applied Sciences for Health Professions Upper Austria was founded in september 2010. We offer 8 bachelor degree programmes and 3 master degree programmes, all of them in the subject areas of health sciences. Please consider that our lecutres are hold in German and that we do not offer any bachelor or master degrees in English. About 800 students are studying at our university of applied sciences at 5 different locations in Linz, Steyr and Wels.
